I engrave my pieces using a combination of stone, copper and diamond wheels. My treasured traditional engraving lathe comes to me from the Krall family of Ohio, proud of their impressive heritage in engraving, they wanted to pass this cherished tool to an artist who would keep it in service. I am most honored to be custodian of this 19th century lathe and have learned much in the process of restoring it to working order.
